Setup
- Mount and plug in the WiBell device (12V power supply).
- Connect to the WiBell's Wi-Fi hotspot (WiBell-XXXXXXXX, password: wibellv2).
- Open
http://192.168.4.1in your browser. - Sync time from your phone/computer.
- Create schedules and test with a manual ring.
Tip: Connecting to building Wi-Fi is optional. The device works completely standalone using its own hotspot.
Before you start: Make sure all WiBell devices are connected to your building's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Step 1 - Connect to Controller hotspot:
- Power on the controller.
- Connect to Wi-Fi:
WiBellController(password:wibellv2). - Open browser:
http://192.168.4.1 - Login PIN:

Step 2 - Connect Controller to your Wi-Fi:
- Wi-Fi Setup screen appears automatically after login.
- Click Scan Networks.
- Select your building Wi-Fi and enter password.
- Click Connect and wait 2-3 minutes.
Step 3 - Access Controller on your Wi-Fi:
- Connect your phone/computer to same Wi-Fi as controller.
- Open browser:

Step 4 - Discover and name your bells:
- Click Discover Devices and wait 5-10 seconds.
- Click All Devices and select each device.
- Enter a Room Name (like "Main Hall" or "Room 101").
- Click Save and repeat for each device.
Tip: Not sure which bell is which? Click Ring next to a device to make it ring and identify it before naming.
Step 5 - Create groups (optional):
Skip if one schedule fits all bells — the Default group covers everything. Create groups when different areas need different schedules (e.g. Building A vs B, Ground floor vs Upper floor).
- On the Home page, click Add Group, enter a name, and click Create.
- To assign a device: click All Devices, select the device, choose its group, and click Save.
Step 6 - Create schedules and push:
⚠ Schedules will NOT run until pushed to the bells. Always click Push All Changes after any change — new schedule, delete, or duration update.
- Click a Group Name (like "Default").
- Add schedules with day, time, and optional label.
- Go to Home Page and click Push All Changes.
- Wait for all devices to update.
Tip: Create groups (Building A, Floor 2) if different areas need different schedules.
Troubleshooting
- Check the power adapter is fully plugged in at both ends.
- Use only the supplied 12V DC power adapter.
- Try a different power outlet.
WiBell has a CR2032 backup battery that keeps the clock running during power outages. If time is wrong after an outage:
- Connect to the device hotspot (WiBell-XXXXXXXX, password: wibellv2) and open
http://192.168.4.1. - Click Sync Time to restore the correct time.
- If this keeps happening after outages, the backup battery needs replacing (CR2032, ~3–5 year life).
- Connecting to building Wi-Fi enables automatic time recovery without needing manual sync.
- Check that the LED is blue (schedules are enabled).
- Verify the time is set correctly.
- Test with a manual ring from the web interface.
- Make sure the device is plugged in and powered.
- Connect to the bell's own Wi-Fi hotspot (WiBell-XXXXXXXX, password: wibellv2).
- Open
http://192.168.4.1in your browser. - If you're trying to access via building Wi-Fi, make sure your phone/PC is on the same network as the bell.
- Try opening the device by IP address from your router's device list.
- Check that the LED is blue (schedules are enabled).
- Verify the time is set correctly.
- Confirm the schedule is set for the correct days and times.
- Test with a manual ring from the web interface to confirm the bell works.
WiBell has an internal battery that keeps time during power outages. If time is wrong or LED is blinking red, you just need to sync time:
- Connect to the device's hotspot (WiBell-XXXXXXXX, password: wibellv2).
- Open
http://192.168.4.1and sync time from your phone/computer. - Done! No Wi-Fi needed - connecting to building Wi-Fi is optional.
WiBell Device:
- Blinking Red: Time not set. Connect to device hotspot and sync time.
- Solid Red: Schedules are disabled. Enable schedules from the control panel.
- Blue: Device is ready and schedules are active.
WiBell Controller:

Blinking Red: Not connected to building Wi-Fi. Reconnect to
WiBellControllerhotspot, open192.168.4.1, and re-enter Wi-Fi credentials. - Blue: Connected to Wi-Fi and ready.
To set time when LED is blinking red:
- Connect to the device's hotspot (WiBell-XXXXXXXX, password: wibellv2)
- Open
http://192.168.4.1in your browser - The device will automatically sync time from your phone/computer
- LED will turn blue (if schedules are enabled) or solid red (if schedules are disabled)
