Battery Safety Warning

DEATH or serious injury can occur if a coin cell battery is swallowed or inserted into any body opening.

A swallowed button or coin cell battery can cause severe internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours. Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children.

If a Battery Is Swallowed or Inserted:

Seek medical attention immediately.
Call the National Battery Ingestion Hotline: 1-800-498-8666 (24 hours).
Call Poison Control: 1-800-222-1222.
Do not induce vomiting. Do not eat or drink until evaluated by a medical professional.

Important Safety Instructions:

Keep batteries out of reach of children at all times.
Do not allow children to handle batteries.
Keep batteries in original packaging until ready to use.
Dispose of used batteries immediately. Even discharged batteries are dangerous if swallowed.
Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash. Take used batteries to a battery recycling center.
The battery compartment on WiBell products requires a tool to open (4 Phillips screws). To replace the CR2032: unplug the device first, open the compartment, insert the new battery with the + side facing up, and tighten all screws before plugging back in. A depleted backup battery does not stop the bell — it only loses its time memory during power outages. Full instructions are in the product manual on our Support page.
