Full Feature List

Every feature of the WiBell Classic programmable bell system and the WiBell Controller, in one place. Everything below matches the current printed manuals — see the Device Manual and Controller Manual for setup steps.

Scheduling

  • Up to 500 schedule entries per bell, each with its own label and ring duration.
  • Alternate day schedules — set different times for different days, including late starts and special shifts.
  • With the Controller: up to 4 groups with independent schedules, 500 schedules per group (2,000 total), across up to 32 bells.
  • Edit schedules in place, search them by time or label, and enable or disable them for holidays and breaks — all bells, or one group at a time.

Ringing

  • Ring on schedule, or ring manually any time — all bells, one group, or a single device.
  • Ring later: pick a date and time — today or any future day — and the bell rings once at that moment without touching your schedules. The pending ring stays visible on the page and can be cancelled any time before it rings.
  • Ring duration adjustable from 1 to 60 seconds, per schedule or as a global default.
  • 85 dB sound level — built for schools, factories, warehouses, and gyms.

Timekeeping

  • Automatic time sync from internet time servers when on Wi-Fi; one-click sync from your phone or computer without it.
  • Daylight saving adjusts automatically — with or without Wi-Fi.
  • A built-in CR2032 backup battery (3–5 year life) keeps the clock running through power outages. Your schedules are stored in the device's own memory and survive outages even without the battery.

Network & privacy

  • Works fully offline — a standalone bell needs no Wi-Fi and no internet. Wi-Fi is required only when using the Controller.
  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks (5 GHz is not supported). Hidden networks are supported: choose Hidden / not listed and enter the name and password together.
  • Everything runs locally in your building: no cloud account, no app to install, no subscription — control from any phone or computer browser.
  • The Controller finds bells on the network automatically; a bell it cannot discover can be added by its IP address.

Installation & hardware

  • Installs in minutes with the included 12 V DC adapter — no electrician, no hard wiring.
  • Wall mount with 4 corner holes; screws and wall plugs included. Indoor use.
  • LED status at a glance: blue = ready with schedules active, red = schedules off or time needs setting.
  • Password-protected settings, with a power-cycle factory reset if a custom password is ever lost.

Updates & support

  • Firmware updates are optional and always manual — the device checks only when you ask and installs only what you approve (about 5 minutes; settings and schedules are kept). A device that stays offline keeps working on its shipped firmware.
  • US-based support: support@wibell.net · (501) 570-6543.

Safety: contains a coin cell battery — keep out of reach of children. This product is intended for professional and commercial use.
